Branding & UI/UX
Working brand systems — design tokens, Figma components, code-ready specs. Not a 90-page PDF that nobody reads.
Brand systems you can actually use — not a 90-page PDF
The test of a brand isn’t the launch reveal. It’s whether your marketing team can build a landing page six months later without emailing the agency. We ship brands as working systems: design tokens, Figma components, code-ready specifications, asset libraries, and guideline docs short enough that humans read them.
What’s in the box
- Identity design — logo system with primary mark, secondary mark, favicon, social profile variants. Tested against dark, light, coloured, noisy backgrounds before sign-off.
- Typography system — primary display face, body face, fallback stacks, weight ladder, tested for web performance and legibility at scale.
- Colour tokens — semantic names, accessibility-checked contrast ratios, light / dark variants, CSS and design-system variable files included.
- Figma component library — buttons, forms, cards, navigation, modals — all as reusable components with variants, not just flat artboards. Your team can build without rebuilding.
- Iconography & illustration — a starter set scaled to your needs, plus a guide for adding to it later.
- Motion principles — easing curves, standard durations, when to animate and when not to. Concrete, not abstract.
- Guidelines — a PDF short enough to read, an HTML site nice enough to reference.
What’s new in the last 12 months
- AI-generated brand expressions — we brief, a model drafts, we edit. For illustration, iconography, and sometimes motion frames. Dramatically faster production without the generic “AI look” when steered properly.
- Dynamic / responsive brand systems — logos and type that adapt to context (size, density, accessibility mode) via code, not by hand.
- Design-to-code automation — Figma variables mapped directly to code tokens so the dev team never re-interprets the designer’s intent.
- Voice models for AI — tone-of-voice briefs written for the AI agents and content automation we’ll wire up later. The brand shouldn’t sound different when the chatbot writes for it.
How we run a brand project
- Strategy workshop (half-day, in person or video) — customers, competitors, positioning, emotional register.
- Directions — three distinct routes with real copy, real imagery, real UI. Not “mood boards.”
- Refinement — pick a direction, two rounds of revisions.
- Build — component library, tokens, guidelines, icon set, illustration set.
- Handover — 60-minute training session, written documentation, 30 days of free answers to questions that come up after.
Pricing & timeline
Brand refresh (for an existing business with some assets already) from $12,000, 6–8 weeks. Full brand system (from scratch or replacing a legacy identity) from $24,000, 8–12 weeks. Quoted fixed, not hourly — because brand work priced hourly always runs over.
What we won’t do
We won’t give you a logo in a week via a “brand sprint” that skips the real thinking. We won’t hand you PSDs or InDesign files from 2011. We won’t deliver a guidelines PDF with 67 pages of rules nobody will read. If the system doesn’t make your team’s next landing page easier to build, the system doesn’t work.
